Earlier today I wrote about the 2013 Buffalo Mayoral race.
I was just flipping through the online pages of the Buffalo News and saw a column by Robert McCarthy called “Republican weighs bid for mayor amid flux” he wrote today.
I don’t know much about Sergio R. Rodriguez, but I have to say he fits the profile of what I was getting at in my earlier post and what I’d like to see for Buffalo’s next mayor.
This a Rodriguez quote from the column:
“It has to be a campaign that transcends politics and instead inspires and uplifts.”
Buffalo has longed suffered from tired politics and putting power before the people.
It is like I said earlier today:
Buffalo needs bold new leadership.
From first indications, this guy fits the bill.
