Vote no to Kevin Gaughan

(Kevin Gaughan reminds me of Martin Short)
The more and more and more and more I follow the whole COST thang…the more and more and more I am convinced that this is more about Kevin Gaughan than effectively downsizing the size of local governments.
I don’t think eliminating a few seats on village and town boards is the type of downsizing which will change the big government landscape of WNY. It is a feel-good measure that really doesn’t examine the true cost of local governments and easy to get people riled up about.
There needs to be a bigger focus on the efforts of Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to eliminate the vast layers and duplication of governmental services which hang around places like WNY’s neck like an albatross which coincidentally comes before the the state senate for approval today.
