Obama administration on the slick…

First off…I give the the Obama administration credit for appointing a panel to review the government’s response to the oil spill in the gulf.

But…

The panel is not painting a pretty picture

“By initially underestimating the amount of oil flow and then, at the end of the summer, appearing to underestimate the amount of oil remaining in the gulf,” one of the reports stated, “the federal government created the impression that it was either not fully competent to handle the spill or not fully candid with the American people about the scope of the problem.”

The thing we should expect most from the government during a disaster is honesty…history shows that this isn’t always the case.   The Obama administration shows that they are willing to paint their own picture on a disaster to paint a picture they want is to see instead of giving the real deal…disappointing.
