Today the unexpected happened… My ever crazy life was thrown an even crazier curve today because of the whole “got SATISH?” thing. I can”t even begin to tell you how nervous I was when I got the message from WGRZ”s Scott Brown.
I did not expect this… Sure, I wanted to sell a few bumper stickers and t-shirts, but I didn”t think it would make the 6 o”clock news as a lead in story. So it goes…
A fair amount of people make their way to my little cyber home daily. Today though a large group of people were introduced to me and my site. It in a lot ways it scared me.
Here I share some poetry I write, my thoughts on a wide variety of topics and other things that Chris (me) does. That in itself is strange… But I wonder what people think.
I know putting yourself up on the net in one form or another you open a window for surfers to jump right through, but I guess it is sort of like opening night for an actor in their first major role. Feelings of fear and excitement…
Now if I can only sell a million or so “got SATISH?” bumper stickers, I will be a wealthy man.
Life is crazy….but embrace it…
Hey….not only is Bison Baseball right around the corner…the Buffalo Bisons have a redesigned website… I like it! What other sports leagues have done over the last couple of years is make team sites as part of a larger concept to connect fans with not only their teams but with teams across the league and affiliates… The Bisons and the International League have caught on as well. I think it is a great concept because it makes finding out more about teams or the league very easy. Check it out by clicking here… I love baseball… The Bisons” home opener is 04/14 (Friday) and they open league play on 04/06…
OK…I predicted the Sabres would win 4-2…I was right on the mark….that is if the game was only two periods long. I wasn”t really nervous about their slump until tonight….grant it this is the Sabres” first slump since November….but blowing a 2 goal lead in the third and losing in the shootout was bad… Well…Bruins next on Wednesday night….
Man..I sure hope the Sabres break out of the their 5 game funk tonight. The biggest reason why I hope? I can”t stand local sports talk…the sky is falling…. I understand that they have to examine the losing streak, but on the other hand, keep things in perspective.
